After extensive negotiations with the prior ownership Italian family, Orion acquired the vacant Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini, an 18th century building, in the historic heart of Rome just a short walk to Trevi Fountain. The property was acquired in 2019 with planning permission to convert the building into a hotel. After running a competitive process, Orion signed a management agreement with Six Senses Luxury Hotels to transform the asset into create a new 5-star 97-room hotel. with rooftop terrace, courtyard bar, with an impressive Six Senses SPA and fitness centre.
