Orion purchased from Vassakronan this mixed-use complex including office, hotel, retail, and storage assets totalling 189,808 sqm, with excellent links to central Stockholm, acquired below replacement cost with Seller financing. The asset had office vacancy and additional potential due to its' favourable retail location. Orion obtained new planning rights for 26,000 sqm of retail, plus the conversion of storage to shopping. The retail mix was also improved, and other services added including Bauhaus and Mio. The assets were successfully sold to Profi in 2013.
